Daily itinerary

Day 1: Sorong Airport – Raja Ampat
First day in the Raja Ampat archipelago

On arrival at Sorong Airport, you are met by our representative who takes you to the city harbour. Together with our representative you board the ferry to Waisai on Waigeo Island in Raja Ampat. Arriving 2 hours later, you are met by your homestay’s boatman who takes you by speedboat to your final destination. On the horizon appear the beach bungalows of your charming homestay on stilts. This small, simple place was built with great attention to detail by a foreign couple on a deserted island. Settle in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Transportation: 10 minutes by car, 2 hours by ferry, 90 minutes by speed boat. Accommodation: Overwater bungalow. Meals: full board.

Day 2: Raja Ampat
Snorkeling and visit at Sawandarek village

After breakfast, depart for a snorkeling trip to the village of Sawandarek on Mansuar Island. For years, the residents have decided to quit fishing to preserve the underwater heritage of their village. Their efforts have paid off, making Sawandarek one of the most remarkable sites for snorkeling in Raja Ampat. Snorkel with a wide variety of marine life such as barracudas, giant groupers, emperors, turtles, sharks, batfish and many more. Later, visit the village and take a stroll through the sleepy streets before returning to your homestay.

Day 3: Raja Ampat
Visit of Piaynemo and the Star Lagoon, snorkeling in Fam Wall and Melissa’s Garden

After breakfast, depart for Piaynemo Island, one of the most iconic sites in all of Raja Ampat. From the top of this island, reached by climbing 300 steps, you can enjoy a breathtaking postcard panorama of the archipelago. Next stop is the star-shaped lagoon of Telaga Bintang. After lunch, enjoy snorkeling at the famous sites of Melissa’s Garden and The Wall, rich in colorful corals and marine life. Return to the homestay by mid to late afternoon.

Day 4: Raja Ampat
A day snorkeling with manta rays and visiting the village of Arborek

This day starts with the unforgettable experience of swimming with manta rays! These majestic creatures are just a few meters away from you and you can admire their beautiful ballet. Continue to the village of Arborek, famous for its colorful and rich snorkeling sites. After a swim to discover corals, fish, turtles and other underwater wonders, enjoy a picnic lunch in the shade of coconut palms and later take a stroll through the village. Return to your resort in the afternoon.

Day 5: Raja Ampat
Free day in paradise

Wake up to the sound of birdsong and waves. Enjoy your breakfast while admiring the crystal-clear waters. Relax on the terrace of your bungalow, read, or put on fins, mask and snorkel to explore the surroundings. Just a few palms from your bungalow, you can swim with manta rays and turtles in a rich coral garden. You can also choose to go on a scuba diving excursion or a discover scuba session.

Day 6: Raja Ampat – Sorong Airport
Last day in Raja Ampat

Enjoy your last morning in paradise. After breakfast, your boatman takes you to Waisai harbor where you board the ferry to Sorong. On arrival in Sorong, you are transferred to Sorong Airport for your onward flight.

Transportation: 10 minutes by car, 2 hours by ferry, 90 minutes by speed boat. Meals: breakfast.
